Build
Raise brood, make room in the comb, and keep your colony supplied with food and water.
Build. Expand. Defend. Evolve. Dominate.
Command a colony of giant bees in a world shared with other players. Raise your brood, scout beyond your borders, and claim the resources your hive needs to grow.
Players are already sharing The Gilded Path, our first Apiary. Alpha access is by invitation.
Choose where your bees work, what they explore, and which ground is worth fighting for.
Raise brood, make room in the comb, and keep your colony supplied with food and water.
Survey unknown ground, claim resource sites, and connect them to your growing territory.
Balance expeditions with bees kept at home. Choose when to commit a force and when to hold it back.
Train your Battle Bee and develop your colony's lineage. Inherited mutations shape later generations of workers.
Establish more hives and compete with neighboring colonies for resources, territory, and room to grow.
A real multiplayer alpha, still being built. Here's what to expect.
Yes. Players are already building colonies in the same persistent world. Each game server is called an Apiary. Our current Alpha Test takes place in The Gilded Path.
Survey the map, claim resource territory, manage your hive and brood, train a Battle Bee, and try practice battles. Features and balance are still changing as testers play.
We're recruiting testers now. Request an invitation through our Alpha Testing page. If you're invited, you'll sign in with the Google account linked to that invitation.
No. Hive Dominion runs in your web browser. We recommend a desktop or laptop for alpha testing; mobile layouts are still being refined.
No. Missions and colony life continue on the server. You don't need to leave a browser tab open for bees to travel, gather, or develop.
Alpha testing is free. Support is voluntary and does not buy access, in-game power, or rewards. The game's design rules out paid competitive advantages.
Alpha progress is not permanent. Test worlds may reset while we work on the game, and testing does not grant a head start when the public game opens.
The development page covers notable releases and work in progress. The Status page lists our Apiaries, including the active Alpha Test and the planned Beta Test.
We're looking for players who enjoy colony building and don't mind a few rough edges. Play, report bugs, and tell us what feels good or needs work.
Read our funding plan and spending record before contributing. Project Katon is for-profit. Support is not a purchase or investment, and it does not buy testing access, rewards, or gameplay advantages.
